This week sign of the week comes from Prudenville, This week sign of the week comes from Prudenville, Michigan, and the First Baptist Church. There are always two sides to a sign. Not sure which sign is first or if they are separate messages. Both are good reminders. I know I need to worry less, be use it is stressful. #signoftheweek #worryless
This past July, I was able to fulfill dream and vi This past July, I was able to fulfill dream and visit the Netherlands American Cemetery near Margraten, Netherlands. I don’t know anyone or have a family member who is buried there. My only connection is through a story I first learned of in 2016 about a young Dutch boy who adopted PFC James E Wickline’s grave when he was thirteen years old in 2002. For more than a decade this boy was curious and full of wonder (and respect and awe, too) about this soldier and his life which ended on this day in 1944. Wickline was 21 when he died parachuting into the Netherlands in Operation Market Garden. May never forget @usabmc .#worldwar2 #netherlandsamericancemetery #sacrifice #remembrance 508thparachuteregiment
