It is Day 72 with four remaining before it’s back to school.
Time flies.
It’s six months with three more before my son’s twins arrive, we can bearly (sic) wait. Always making the days count.
This past week has been a flurry of activity, and the next four days will be, too. This past weekend was our daughter-in-law’s baby shower, and we helped our son get his yard and house ready. It was a beautiful day, the yard looked wonderful, and it was a great day to celebrate the coming arrival of our first grandchildren. Exciting.
Time flies.
Today we are back to Michigan and the lake to help our daughter move into the house she and some friends have rented for her senior year.
Time flies.
Today is going to be an amazing day. I know it and I can feel it so, I’d better jump up, jump in, and seize the day. Making the Days Count, one day at a time making time, because time flies.
How has your time been flyin’?
Time does indeed fly, and distressingly fast. I wish it would slow down a bit.
Back to school and on tenth day… feeling life moving pretty fast.
I always feel sorry for you in mid-August when your holidays are almost done Then I remembered you break up much earlier than we English. Enjoy your last few days!
Thank you! Got home last night. Solo drive. My wife is staying at lake for another week (at least) with older dog, younger dog off to college with daughter. Moved both of them into their house for her senior year on Thursday. Life moves fast and I have a feeling it’ll move faster when I don’t have to go back to school in a few years. I’ll be okay going back to school… had my first ‘school nightmare’ last night.
Aaaagh! Let’s hope it doesn’t come true!
Well here’s to another fantastic year of teaching and the arrival of beautiful healthy boys very soon!

Thank you! I get to celebrate 25 years of service on Tuesday. I and at least 76 others are celebrating 25 years. Super exciting. Thanks for stopping in and have a wonderful weekend.
Four day – whew! And twins – yay! Love all the stuff you are doing to make the days count, Clay!
Thank you. It’s mind boggling. I remember when my wife and I were expecting him – all I could do was to keep focused.
Congratulations on everything, new grandbaby, senior in college, a new school year beginning.
Yes, it is exciting. And it sure makes time fly. Hoping to see the northern lights when we’re up at the lake.
