W^2 or W squared for Wordless Wednesday, August 25, 2021
It’s late August and it’s hot, humid, and storms blow up in the afternoon. This magnificent thunder cell wrought heavy rains over a small area for over an hour, then dissipated and moved out over Lake Michigan and parts east. I fell asleep to flashes of lightning and rolls of thunder in the distance, but very little rain fell on my lawn. It’s Thursday, not Wednesday and I am going to make Thursday an amazing day. Making the Days Count, one day at a time, day 6 follows day 5, always.
How are your late August afternoons?

Plenty of rain here in Ohio, as well. My husband and I got caught in pop-up storms while rowing on two Friday afternoons. That gave us plenty of exercise struggling back to the dock in gusty winds!
Rowing sounds fun, even wet from a storm. We’ve had storms pop up here, but we need the rain badly. I’ve been watering the essentials and I am not looking forward to the water bill. It’s Sunday and the sun is shining brightly – no big clouds in sight only those high altitude wispy ones. Thank you for stopping in. Peace.
Fabulous cloud studies. Yup, we’re doing clouds here too. Lots of grey ones as well.
Looking up today and sky is cloudless. But I know that will change and someday soon there will be no blue to see from here. Hope all is well in your world. I am slowly catching up to the present. Peace.
You do seem busy! I hope you’re enjoying some time just for you too. Look after yourself!
Dawn – love looking at clouds. Even storm clouds. This brought rain and a lot of it over a small area in very short time. Missed out place and we could use it! Take care. Peace.
