magic – a photo challenge

It’s Wednesday afternoon. It’s been an amazing day and there is still a little magic left.

We’re UP NORTH where magic abounds. I suppose if I looked, I could find it at home, but I am here. We drove up after school yesterday and stopped halfway to deliver a Christmas wreath to a good friend. We arrived late and the stars were twinkling magically as we unloaded the car.

This morning B nudged me and said, “we’d better get going and rake the yard before the snow hits.”

I grumbled, but got moving. It began to spit snow as we finished.

there is magic in the air...
there is magic in the air…

Then it was a trip to the grocery for what we needed for Thanksgiving dinner. That’s tomorrow and I am thankful

I’ve been dreaming of being here since my last visit in early October. It’s magic here, even when it is cold and snowing.

It’s quiet, calm, and peaceful. Exactly what we needed.

I have a rib roast in the oven for dinner and that means a bone for my buddy Ivy. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have much for which I am thankful. For now, I am going to watch the snow fall and dream.

Today’s has already been a great day, I know it and I can feel it. So, I had better wrap this up and press, post. Making the Days Count one day at a time, dreaming of magical days while the snow falls.

What is magical for you?

Today’s post is inspired by this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Magic. For this week’s challenge, find some magic, and charm us with it.

    1. Phil, I am embarrassed it’s taken me this long to reply – life has been hectic here and it’s all I can do to keep the car of life on the road. Thanksgiving was wonderful and I am reminded how fortunate my family and I truly are. 14 days until Christmas, 21 days until New Year’s. I gottta keep my eyes on the magic and my hands on the wheel. Peace.

Thanks for visiting MtDC. How are YOU Making YOUR Days Count?
