light

It’s Easter Sunday and there is light. Let’s set aside dark and heavy for a day, and focus on light instead.

Last night, O called attention to the lake shore and the evening’s sunset. B and I walked to the shoreline to watch the sun set over the lake together with O.

Saturday evening’s sunset. A sunset on the lake is never the same, Never.

I have been taking sunset pictures for longer than I can remember.

They are never the same, Never.

This morning the sun rose, it was cloudy, but there was light. We had visitors. Fern, the puppy, was patient and welcoming.

Today is going to be an amazing day. I know it and I can feel it, so I’d better jump up, jump in, and seize the day. Making the Days Count, one day at a time, especially when there is light.

There is always light, what is your light today?

    1. Thank you – I hope you and your family were able to enjoy Easter together in the time of quarantine. We were together for dinner and we were able to talk to those who were not with us. technology is amazing, but it is a poor substitute for in person contact. The grass is greening and there are shoots everywhere. Yesterday we had storms and snow late. This morning there is a white crust n the lawn and the deck, but the sun is out and I sure it will melt before day’s end. Spring is spring and soon we will have a green lawn and spring flowers. Have a wonderful day!

      1. My step mom and my brothers and I are experiencing technology issues with our stepmother. No Zoom, but the phone is challenging enough. We aren’t zooming in our family either, but we are small enough to keep it together with the phone. The sun is shining here, but it is COLD….brrr sunny and -4C.
