What do you wonder when you look to the heavens?
Cool! My pictures at night never turn out, especially when I try to photograph the moon and other celestial bodies. I’m sure it’s just a camera setting but I don’t know which one. I always love your photos.

Thank you. I was lucky – there was enough light to make a clean exposure with out loosing the moon, Saturn or Jupiter. When we were at the lake, I tried to take photos with a camera of the night sky at the lake where there is far less light pollution with not so good results. I guess I am going to have to practice and experiment. Stay well and safe. Peace.
Great little post, Clay…. Yeah, WHAT do I wonder when I look to the heavens? Had to think a bit about that – looking at the beauty of the sky, often I don’t wonder but try to empty my head from the day’s worries & happenings, and since I don’t know the names of the heavenly night-life, I find myself simply marvelling at the peace, beauty and soothing silence upon us.

The link is the rest of the story….when I look to the heavens I pray for our world and look for answers. The light from Jupiter takes about 40 minutes or so to reach Earth, so maybe in the 40 minutes it took for the light to reflect off Jupiter to reach my eyes I found a little moment of peace.
