W^2 – moon

W^2 or W squared for Wordless Wednesday December 9, 2020

The moon setting in the early morning light. Wheaton, IL December 2, 2020 6:35 AM

It is amazing what we can find if we only look. Making the Days Count, one day at a time while remembering to look around, always.

What are you hoping to see today?

    1. Margaret, yes it has. We have had some remarkably clear evenings and mornings to see the heavens above. I ordered a telescope and I am looking forward to using it to see Saturn and Jupiter when they come together later this month. It has been a joy to look up, especially in these times. Stay well and safe, Peace.

      1. I pre-opened it the evening before the Great Conjunction and was able to see Saturn and Jupiter before they set. I will re-open it this Christmas morning and i plan to use it here at the lake – there is far less light pollution here than at home – 6M plus people at home versus 13k here at the lake. Peace on Earth.
