W^2 or W squared for Wordless Wednesday, February 8, 2023
It is Wednesday and I have written or posted in a very long while.
Birds have been visiting the feeder this winter and I looked out the kitchen window a couple of weeks ago to see a pair of cardinals feeding – a couple a male and a female. The male with his bright red plumage caught my eye and I took photos of both. I am saving the rest for a future post.
Today is going to be a great day, an amazing day, in fact. I know it and I can feel it, so I’d better jump up, jump in, and seize the day. Making the Days Count, one day at a time, enjoying the longer days and the sunshine we’ve had of late.
What do you see when you look out your kitchen window?
For me, today HAS been an amazing day. I got good news about a friend’s dog (doesn’t have cushings) AND I got good news about a possible puppy for us, it’s been 8 months since Katie-girl left, AND it was sunny out, AND I went photo hunting old barns and ended up seeing pelicans. So. Today was a good day. Hope yours was too.
I HAVE been watching and I am happy that you have a new puppy. I remember when we got a new puppy a few years back and four years later, she still acts like a puppy! Enjoy.
What a charming photo you have for us today. Still chilly with you though?
Thank you Margaret! The past few days have been above freezing and the snow has melted. We have had sunny days and clear nights stretching back to last Monday (January 30th). The nights have been spectacular.Spring is in the air and we crossed the ten hours of daylight last Friday, but winter never seems to end. And you?
Ditto really. The moon has been particularly lovely later, snowdrops are flourishing, aconites too. So actually – the end MAY be in sight.
Margaret, February and March really kept me running. But I did make time to look up, when the nights were cloudless.take care and enjoy your vacation.
